Does an engagement ring have to be diamond?

I already have a plain pledge ring from my BF, yet it’s not a discernible event ring. you would inform my impression as kind of hippie-chic, in addition as you absolutley venerate a feeling of hazed quartz, yet identical to some woman i DO venerate diamonds! Could my event ring hang both diamonds (in a side stones) in addition as hazed quartz (the core stone)?? Or does it have to be merely diamonds? No, it shouldn’t be. It should be whatever you like, you may go either with a gemstone or a diamond. you may either use it as a center stone or a side stone. It is what makes you comfortable.
